It has been a busy time these past few weeks and I haven't been doing that much birding, although I have done quite a lot of painting. This past week though, I just had to go down to the Isles of Scilly! I will be updating the blog again very soon with latest artworks, so please have a look again in a few days. In the meantime here is the cover of the latest BTO Wetland Bird Survey report for which I have painted the cover picture. It is based on some Goosander I painted on Lake D at the Nunnery Lakes last December.
